A few years ago, I had a terrible infection in my body and, at times, wondered if I would ever heal. I lost weight and struggled with anxiety and body confidence. Medication wasn't working, and I didn't know which way to turn, so I started practising yoga more regularly... and began to heal my body and mind.
I realised the importance of sharing the benefits of yoga with other women so I embarked on a new journey to teach it. During this time, my sense of self-worth hit rock bottom when my relationship broke down. I had to dig deep (and use yoga) to both process and push through my emotions in a healthy way so that I could be there for my daughter - she is my everything!
Yoga is transformational! It has helped me to reshape the way that I think and feel. We all have setbacks but, with the right intention, we can continue to grow. I have strengthened my body and feel more empowered physically and mentally. It has been life changing and it's my mission to share that feeling!
